About Charlotte Reed

Charlotte Reed earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Strategic Communication from American University. Studying voice at the university under acclaimed mezzo-soprano Barbara Hollinshead, Charlotte performed as a soloist across the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area for politicians and dignitaries and performed the National Anthem at her commencement ceremony in front of a crowd of thousands. Additionally, Charlotte made her international soloist debut in 2013 in Russia performing Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Vivaldi’s Gloria on a tour sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

After her graduation, Charlotte continued her music career in New York City as a staff musician at the historic St. Jean Baptiste Church and as an ensemble singer with various award-winning artists, including four sold-out shows with Andrea Bocelli at Madison Square Garden in 2019 and 2021. Notably, as an ensemble singer, she received two GRAMMY® nominations for “Best Choral Performance” in 2020 with The Oratorio Society of New York and in 2025 with Downtown Voices.

Following a move to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2024, Charlotte continues to perform as a soloist and as a member of The San Francisco Bach Choir and Peninsula Cantare.
